Is FileKiwi really free?
Yes. All FileKiwi tools are free to use, with no account, no email and no watermark on your files.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
Yes. Whichever tool you use, a copy of every file you add is uploaded over an encrypted connection and stored in a private, non public folder on our server for 30 days, then deleted automatically. Results are not stored. Most tools still do the conversion in your browser; a few, such as PDF compression and Word to PDF, do it on our server. Details are in our privacy policy.
Which file formats can I convert?
Images in HEIC, HEIF, WebP, AVIF, PNG, JPG, JFIF, SVG, GIF, BMP and TIFF, plus PDF, Word (DOCX) and plain text. You can also create ICO icons and turn images into PDF documents.
Does FileKiwi work on iPhone and Android?

Is there a file size limit?
Most tools accept files up to 50 MB each, and PDF compression accepts up to 100 MB. Browser tools can also be limited by the memory of your device for very large images.
