FileKiwi

Accessibility statement

Last updated: October 5, 2026

The short version. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. If something on FileKiwi is hard to use for you, tell us and we will fix it or help you another way.

1. Our commitment

FileKiwi is built to be simple for everyone, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, zoom, high contrast settings or a phone. We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, as our target.

2. What we do

  • Semantic HTML with one main heading per page, landmarks and a "Skip to content" link.
  • Every tool can be started with the keyboard: the upload button is a real form control, and files can also be pasted or dropped.
  • Text and buttons use colors with strong contrast on a white background.
  • Visible focus outlines on links, buttons and form fields.
  • Pages work at 200% zoom and on small screens, without horizontal scrolling.
  • Animations are reduced when your system asks for reduced motion.
  • Status messages, such as "Done" or an error, are announced to screen readers.

3. Known limitations

  • Some visual editors, such as cropping an image or selecting faces to blur, are easier with a mouse or touch screen. The crop tool also offers number fields for exact values.
  • Automatic results from AI tools (background removal, face detection) are visual and may need checking by a sighted person.
  • Older browsers may not support every tool.

4. Feedback and contact

If you find a barrier, please write to contact@filekiwi.com with the subject "Accessibility". Tell us the page, what you tried to do and the device or assistive technology you use. We aim to reply within 5 working days.

5. Assessment

This statement is based on our own review of the website on October 5, 2026. We will review it at least once a year and whenever we make larger changes.
